Flatware is meticulously crafted in an enduring nickel-silver base and silverplated with a thick layer of 999.5 per mille pure silver in the exclusive Sambonet HSSP electroplating process (twice as hard as traditional silverplating and up to 4 times more tarnish resistant). Each piece is hand polished to mirror perfection. This is the same classic flatware used over 100 years on the Wagon-Lit trains in Europe.
