Elite is characterized by harmonious, soft oval forms and lines that are realized through the unique Sambonet pressing technology. Produced from commercial-quality 18/10 stainless steel, pieces generally are 1.5mm thick, while some special pieces go up to 2.0mm. Handles are solid micro-cast stainless steel, and all welding is done by hand using silver alloy brazing. Knobs are heavy, solid brass that are finished with nickel and chrome plating.
Elite is available in either the bright polished stainless steel finish or electro-silverplated stainless steel (EPSS) with a bright mirror polish finish using the exclusive Sambonet HSSP (Hard Sambonet SilverPlating) process. HSSP adds a thick layer of 999.5 per mille silver to plate the high-quality 18/10 stainless steel base that is twice as hard as traditional silverplating and up to four times more tarnish resistant.
