Solid Birch Hardwood Cart Top

These solid birch wood shelves are specifically designed to complement InterMetro wire shelving for creating innovative and flexible furnishing solutions for your home or office. The 3/4"-thich shelves are made from solid North American birch hardwood, feature edge grain construction, and are available in either a mineral oil or clear lacquer finish. Choose the food-safe oil finish if you plan to use the shelf itself as a cutting or chopping surface in the kitchen (requires routine re-application of butcher block oil). The lacquer finish is ideal for creating a desktop or workspace with InterMetro shelving.
The birch hardwood cart tops are designed for placement over the top post ends of a standing or rolling InterMetro unit. Each top has countersunk holes on its bottom surface for fitting the posts. The birch hardwood top is ideal for a kitchen cart, office cart, desktop, or tabletop. Two sizes are availabe :
- Top size 20" x 40" (fits 18" x 36" shelving unit)
- Top size 24" x 52" (fits 18" x 48" shelving unit)
The birch cart tops are sold individually and are available in either a mineral oil finish or clear lacquer finish.
