The traditional, key-wound ship's clock resonates with the rich sound of the traditional ship's 8-bell watch cycle, ringing every half hour. The 11-jewel movement and bell silencer are handcrafted by the clockmaker Hermle in Germany's Schwarzwald, home to some of the finest clockmakers in the world. The chime used is known as the "ship's bell".  

The Martinique Collection features a large selection of marine instruments with solid, forged brass bodies that are hand polished with a coat of lacquer to ensure a lasting shine. Its hinged bezel complements the classic nautical look. While the instruments may be mounted on a yacht, they are spectacular as decorative accessories in a home or office and make ideal gifts for the boaters in your life. The instruments mount to the wall or may be displayed on our assorted solid wood bases as shown above (sold separately). Each instrument comes complete with instructions, mounting hardware, and battery if required.
