Boaters Tapestry
Boaters is a tapestry reproduction of the Pierre-August Renoir painting Luncheon of the Boating Party. Created in the years 1880-1881, this Impressionist painting depicts a luncheon party on a rented boat upon the river Seine just outside of Paris. It not only conveys the light-hearted leisurely mood of the outing, but also reflects the character of mid to late-19th century French social structure. The painting today can be viewed in the Phillips Collection of Washington, DC.

The tapestry comes with hooks on the back for hanging. If you order a rod and finial set to hang the tapestry, the hooks will be replaced with a rod pocket. Due to the woven nature of fabrics, widths vary slightly and therefore each rod is custom cut to fit each tapestry. A rod and finial set should be ordered at the same time as the tapestry. A custom cut rod cannot be ordered later. Tassels and wall décor also are available to accent your tapestry. Please contact the 125West Concierge if further assistance is required.
