Sheep Tapestry

The Sheep tapestry is inspired by an original tapestry, woven in the early 15th century that is today on display in the Royal Art and History Museum in Brussels. It is believed the tapestry belongs to a "Series of the Months" collection, because traditionally sheep shearing was often associated with the month of June.

The tapestry comes with hooks on the back for hanging. If you order a rod and finial set to hang the tapestry, the hooks will be replaced with a rod pocket. Due to the woven nature of fabrics, widths vary slightly and therefore each rod is custom cut to fit each tapestry. A rod and finial set should be ordered at the same time as the tapestry.
