Shield Tapestry
The colorful Shield Tapestry is inspired from a mid-16th Century original tapestry that is on display in the Bruges Museum in Belgium. The original was woven by Aernot Van Loo for the Nagera Family who lived in Bruges but had Basque-Spanish ancestry. The tapestry is designed from the coat of arms of the Nagera family.
- Jacquard woven
- Style 122 size 51" x 56"
- Materials 80% wool, 20% cotton
- Back fully lined
- Made in Belgium
- Shown with black-gold acorn finial set (sold separately)
- Large View
The tapestry comes with hooks on the back for hanging. If you order a rod and finial set to hang the tapestry, the hooks will be replaced with a rod pocket. Due to the woven nature of fabrics, widths vary slightly and therefore each rod is custom cut to fit each tapestry. A rod and finial set should be ordered at the same time as the tapestry. A custom cut rod cannot be ordered later. Tassels and wall décor also are available to accent your tapestry. Please contact the 125West Concierge if further assistance is required.
