Crest Tapestry
Our handsome Crest Tapestry is inspired from an original 16th century tapestry that hangs today in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The tapestry was first woven by Antoon Segon in Bruges, Flanders. The tapestry features the crest of Paulo Giovio of Como, Italy, whose motto translates to "Wisdom Is Subject To Fate". The luxurious weave of the tapestry provides extraordinary richness both in texture and color.

The tapestry comes with hooks on the back for hanging. If you order a rod and finial set to hang the tapestry, the hooks will be replaced with a rod pocket. Due to the woven nature of fabrics, widths vary slightly and therefore each rod is custom cut to fit each tapestry. A rod and finial set should be ordered at the same time as the tapestry. A custom cut rod cannot be ordered later. Tassels and wall décor also are available to accent your tapestry. Please contact the 125West Concierge if further assistance is required.
