Sambonet chafing dishes are used by leading hotels and restaurants in Europe and around the world. Our rectangular chafing dish Asia is constructed from valuable nickel silver, much heavier than stainless steel, and is finished in a bright mirror polish finish using the exclusive Sambonet HSSP (Hard Sambonet SilverPlating) process. HSSP adds a thick layer of 999.5 per mille silver to plate the nickel-silver base that is twice as hard as traditional silverplating and up to four times more tarnish resistant.
