With their elegant design dating from the nineteenth century, the Peugeot Paris pepper and salt mills remain timeless. The tapered neck provides an easy grip while turning the knob for grinding. The grind is adjustable, and the mills are easy to fill. Constructed of durable beechwood and hand finished, the Peugeot Paris mills are available in assorted sizes. The patented design of the milling mechanism, created in 1842 for the first Peugeot pepper mills, is still in use today, virtually unchanged. Often copied but never equaled, the grinding mechanism, constructed of case hardened steel, is designed to crack the peppercorns before the actual fine grinding process. The grooves on a Peugeot mechanism are individually cut into the metal, and then case hardened, making them virtually indestructible. The salt mill features a stainless steel mechanism that resists corrosion. Thanks to their proven designs, both mechanisms are backed by lifetime warranties.
