Use the touch screen for setting temperature and brewing volume, pre-infusion, water hardness, descaling notification, adjusting the coffee dosage from 7-10.5 grams, language options, rinsing and cleaning cycles, aroma strength, timer, and much more. And of course, at the touch of a button, the Platinum Vision goes from bean to espresso to cup. Its powerful pump and stainless steel boiler ensure perfect pressure-brewed coffee, cup after cup. Cup size and coffee amount are adjustable, and you even can adjust the brewing pressure (Espresso Plus System) up to 15-bar for a full-bodied, short espresso coffee or at lower pressures for other styles of coffee drinks. For those who crave choice in everything, its bypass doser for pre-ground coffee means you can offer decaf or regular beverages. Preparing milk for cappuccino or caffè latte also is fast and simple thanks to the Rapid Steam system (no waiting time!) and the pannarello frothing wand. Thanks to the stainless steel front panel and ABS plastic housing, the Gaggia Platinum Vision is easy to keep looking clean and new.
Also included with the Gaggia Vision is the Milk Island milk frother. Very easy to use, it connects to the machine and then steams and froths milk inside the carafe when the steam knob is turned on. The Milk Island also is very easy to take apart and clean. Capacity 13.5oz.
