The Dickoron sapphire cut steel is the preferred sharpening steel of professional chefs and butchers in Germany. F.Dick steels are chromed to provide the hardness required to sharpen high carbon stainless steel knives. The tiny sharpening grooves run straight and uninterrupted along the entire length of the balanced, tapered steel that results in a smooth and super-sharp cutting edge.
