ArmetaleŽ metal is a food-safe alloy developed by the company in the 1960's for the demanding stress of restaurant use. ArmetaleŽ products will not break, chip, crack, rust, or tarnish, which makes them ideal for a lifetime of everyday use. Each serveware piece has a brightly polished top side for food presentation and a proprietary stone finish on the outside and bottom to withstand the rigors of oven or stovetop heating. ArmetaleŽ metal also will retain temperatures for extended periods making it ideal for serving hot or cold foods. Each piece is individually handcrafted by American foundry men and women in the family-owned and -operated factory in Lancaster, PA.

ArmetaleŽ metal is a unique, non-toxic aluminum-based alloy, making it ideal for cooking and entertaining. Hot foods cooked and served in Wilton ArmetaleŽ products stay hot longer. Cold foods and drinks served in Wilton ArmetaleŽ products stay cold longer. ARMETALEŽ products are individually hand-crafted from a non-toxic aluminum-based alloy. ARMETALEŽ metal has been analyzed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and an independent third party laboratory and conforms to guidelines for the safe handling of food and beverages. ARMETALEŽ products are also durable and will not crack, chip or dent under normal usage. Each ARMETALEŽ product is a solid piece of metal with no coating applied.
