Mayan DesignsMuch of original Mayan art was comprised of intricate carvings of stylized deities, great rulers, and legendary heroes in wood and stone. The Maya did not have metal tools or potter's wheels, yet they produced highly detailed and beautiful pieces of art. Mayan Designs brings you bas-relief and sunken-relief reinterpretations of the Mayan art in cast stone and plaster. Placed alone or on a wall in a garden setting or room, they will add a three-dimensional focal point. Cast stone pieces also may be set in the ground.
