Gaines Classic MailboxGaines Manufacturing designs and manufactures the world's finest mailboxes, and the Classic Mailbox leads the way. Our patented lockable mailbox is meticulously built with the highest quality materials and innovative design. The stately Classic Mailbox features six different hand-fitted and hand-polished solid brass or nickel accent pieces, including the flag. Constructed from durable die-cast aircraft-grade aluminum using 16 different castings, each mailbox is hand assembled and power coated with over two pounds of paint. The color is weather resistant and will provide many years of enjoyment. Six colors are available:
The accent pieces allow the Classic Mailbox truly to stand out as a focal point for your home. Four attractive accent finishes are available that can be combined with any mailbox color:
The Classic Mailbox is available with pedestal, without pedestal, or as a box with faceplate for mounting in a wall or pilaster. Each model features a lockable front access door. The standard mail slot is large enough to accept small packages, magazines, and bundles of mail. An optional high-security feature is available that limits hand entry into the mailbox. Warranty one year. Please note that the Classic Mailbox is not intended as a curbside mailbox where the letter carrier delivers mail from a vehicle. Made in USA | ||

Classic Mailbox with PedestalThe Classic Mailbox includes the complete box mounted to pedestal. The pedestal should be installed on a concrete base or solid surface and not directly on a dirt surface.
The mailbox is shown at left in color forest green with the polished brass accent pieces and in color black with the satin nickel accents. All colors and accent pieces are available. The black mailbox also includes the optional personalized address plaque. The plaque comes in the same color as the mailbox with vinyl numbers complementing the mailbox accents. High Security OptionThe High Security option restricts an unwanted hand from entering the mailbox (but also restricts the size of parcels and mail bundles). If required, it must be added at the time of manufacture and cannot be retrofitted onto existing mailboxes. The High Security option can be added to any Classic Mailbox model shown above. |
